Information you provide

UniSavings receives information you choose to provide when you create an account or participate in the community.

• Account details such as your name, email address, user identifier, and selected college.
• Saved deals, helpful or not-helpful votes, discount submissions, and outdated-deal reports.
• Messages and supporting information you send to UniSavings for support, corrections, or privacy requests.

Location information

Location access is optional and only requested after you choose a location feature and approve the browser permission. It is used to identify a nearby supported college and organize relevant deals.

UniSavings does not intentionally store your precise browser location in its application database. You can deny or revoke location access through your browser and continue searching by college name.

How information is used

Information is used to operate accounts, remember saved deals, record community feedback, process submissions and reports, prevent abuse, provide support, maintain security, and improve the usefulness of UniSavings.

Public deal listings may display business information and deal details from a submission. UniSavings does not display a student submitter’s private account information as part of the listing.

Service providers and sharing

UniSavings relies on service providers such as Vercel for hosting and Supabase for authentication and database services. Those providers may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser or device information, and request logs, according to their own terms and privacy practices.

UniSavings may process public business and university deal-source information to help discover and review listings. UniSavings does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or complete a business transfer.

Cookies and essential storage

UniSavings and its authentication providers may use cookies or browser storage that are necessary for sign-in, security, saved sessions, and basic preferences. UniSavings does not currently operate third-party behavioral advertising trackers.

Retention and deletion

Account information is generally retained while an account remains active and as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and service operations. Community submissions or reports may be retained in de-identified form to preserve review history and prevent duplicate abuse.

To request account or personal-information deletion, email rsquaredct@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. UniSavings may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Your choices

You may browse deals without an account, decline location permission, update certain account information, remove saved deals, and contact UniSavings to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

Children, changes, and questions

UniSavings is intended for college communities and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so it can be reviewed.
